We are ready to start the Junior Achievement Program for 3rd, 4th & 5th grades. The Junior Achievement program helps students learn the basic concepts of business and economics and how education is relevant to the workplace. We need volunteers to teach the JA classes and share their work experiences. There are 5 lessons that are 30-45 minutes in length. You will be trained and supported throughout the whole process, as well as provided with all materials, lesson plans, and activities. We extend a special invitation to all working parents that have flexible work schedules to present for any class. Check with your company they may allow time off to volunteer for Junior Achievement.

Volunteers are still needed for the following classes:

3rd- Barger, Buentello
4th- Clark, Ortiz, Little
5th-Boyd, French, Fernandez, Spear, Fair

The training dates for Cy-Fair are:
Wed., Sept. 19, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Berry Center
or
Tues., Oct. 16, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Berry Center

If these dates don't work for your schedule we can find one that does.
